An artistic project

I am often asked: What is the good subject for the photographic report? what sort of photograph can I take? I finally thought that this was not the right question. The right question is: what is my favorite photographic subject? How can I do for that? Then, I understand that I have to give free rein to my imagination without worried about the effects of fashion, intellectual and photographic concepts.

Here is my art project in progress. Make as many photos as I want in the greatest variety of subjects. Then, I extract from this production the interesting photographs that have a common thread between them. I have not invented anything, many photographers work like that, I suppose. But the procedure is so simple and logical that I find it very effective to create a visual sensitivity.

Since the beginning of 2009, I used to go out as often as possible with my compact digital camera. I look at light, people, environment, and if all of that reach my sensitivity, I do not hesitate to take photos that I look through later on my computer.

I will keep you informed about the progress of this project underway. I invite you to watch a selection of my photographs that evolves according to my opportunities to travel, and the relative production depending on the subject, context and ... beautiful light.
